The highly innovative “Acoustic Travellers Duo” sheds a new light on modern classical composition – Wolfgang Sambs utilises virtuous sounds in his compositions and rhythms taken from guitar-relevant musical cultures, drawing inspiration from african and classical indian music as well as Flamenco.

This stylistic versatility presents itself in a unique sound which adheres it’s finesse and clarity to the pulse of modern, classical compositional forms. His musical companion, Michael Leibetseder, reflects this colourful variety with a compelling musical voice and a love for detail. Together, the Duo also masters improvisation at the highest level, delivering their performances with a lightness and radiance – modern chamber music with likeability.
